In September 2025, Frigopoint launched the new FP-BV-118 ball valve. The new design remains a full-bore ball valve with a nominal bore diameter of DN25 and an operating pressure of PS45 bar, but has been optimized in terms of size and weight by over 200%. The nominal bore diameter of the ball valve, DN, remains unchanged at 25 mm.
The overall dimensions have changed as follows:
Currently, this is the most optimal ball valve design available on the market, from both European and Chinese manufacturers. While it is essentially a full-bore version and maintains a high operating pressure (45 bar), the weight and size characteristics of this model are equal to those of models with a reduced nominal bore from Chinese manufacturers. This change will positively impact the cost and price of ball valves and make FP products more competitive compared to other brands on the market.
