The Russian plant of refrigeration components Frigopoint took first place in the federal stage of the All-Russian Exporter of the Year 2023 award in the field of mechanical engineering among Russian SMEs. At the competition, Frigopoint represented the Central Federal District as the winner of the regional stage of the award in the field of mechanical engineering among SMEs of the subjects of the Central Federal District.
The award ceremony for the winners of the competition took place on October 19 in the central exhibition hall "Manege". 64 companies from all over Russia took part in the ceremony. The awards were presented to the country's best exporters by First Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Andrey Belousov.
“Russian exporters not only survived, leaving their opponents in awe and bewilderment, but also managed to increase volumes, create new sales channels, new partners - to overcome, in fact, all restrictions, all barriers. And today the heroes of this struggle, the heroes of this war, which Russia won, rise to this stage. At least at this stage. But we have no doubt that it will win next. This stage is definitely left behind us. This is already an accomplished historical fact. And this is thanks to those who will appear on this stage today, including first of all. Thank you very much,” Andrey Belousov noted in his welcoming speech.
Frigopoint has been exporting products since 2014, to the EU and Southeast Asian countries since 2016. In 2019, Frigopoint became the exporter of the year in the Belgorod region, in 2022 it took second place in the Central Federal District in the field of mechanical engineering, in September 2023 it took first place in Central Federal District in the field of mechanical engineering. Based on the results of 2022, 23% of Frigopoint's gross product was produced and shipped through export transactions. Frigopoint exported to more than 20 countries in 2022, the company's partners are more than 30 foreign companies.
